This beginning sounds resource is perfect for young learners in prekindergarten or kindergarten who are mastering identifying the letters of the alphabet with their corresponding beginning sounds.
 
This resource includes the following for each letter of the alphabet:
A word reference poster, perfect for your word wall.
A beginning sound booklet. Your students will practice beginning sounds by identifying the pictures and tracing the words. They will also practice cutting skills and stapling (if you are ready to let them use your stapler.)
A beginning sound worksheet. Your students will practice identifying beginning sounds by looking at pictures and coloring in those that match the target sound.
 
Also included is a complete word list for each letter for easy teacher reference.
 
For vowel letters, only short vowel words have been included.
