Thematic learning is one of my favorite elements in my prek classroom. Finding new creative ways to have my students explore letters and numbers is such a fun challenge and these Easter centers are a low-stress solution.

LITERACY CENTERS:
There are 8 centers, including an Easter word wall included in the literacy folder. Your students will have the opportunity to flex their foundational literacy skills while working with colorful, hands-on manipulatives.

Easter Word Wall - Vocabulary Practice
Jelly Bean Sort - Upper and lowercase identification
Bunny Letter Match - Upper and lowercase identification
Find and Cover - Identifying upper and lowercase letters and beginning sounds

MATH CENTERS:
The math centers include 10 printable activities that will be both engaging and fun for your students. I like to include sensory bin elements and tools to extend the activities and add a fine motor component.

Egg Count and Cover - Subitizing with ten frames
Counting Jelly Beans - Count to 20
Count and Clip Eggs - 1:1 Correspondence
Roll and Cover Easter Baskets - Subitizing with dice
Play Dough Mats - Fine motor, number recognition

EMERGENT READER:
I absolutely LOVE using emergent readers with my prek students. WHY? Because feeling empowered as a reader is such a wonderful gift. Offering them a predictable text with picture clues allows them to 'read' a text independently and that feeling of 'I can' will hopefully stay with them as they move into Kindergarten and true reading instruction.

This Easter Math and Literacy bundle includes an Easter emergent reader that focuses on positional words and sight words.
Your students or child will enjoy finding the bunny on each page and coloring the pictures.
